BOP, JIVE, STROLL & ROCK ‘N’ ROLL – BLUES AT MOONLIGHT 2020

If you think traditional rock ‘n’ roll is dead, then think again. Thousands of 50’s rock ‘n’ roll and rockabilly fans still congregate at festivals throughout the year on various points across the globe, sporting the most authentic 50’s ducktails and beautiful vintage dresses and throwing themselves at the feet of their favourite bands, and Spain is no exception. The rock ‘n’ roll scene is kicking, bopping and jiving and keeping this unique music genre alive.

Blues at Moonlight is one of Spain’s most consolidated, varied and quality rock ‘n’ roll & rockabilly festivals. Now in its 13th edition, it’s taking place at Sunset Beach Club in Benalmádena from November 19th to 22nd. Four days of live music, guest DJs and an atmosphere only to be experienced at an event of this kind.

Past editions of the festival have featured rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly, swing and blues greats such as the late Nick Curran, Andre Williams, Ray Gelato, Space Cadets, Restless, Bo Weavil and Mike Sanchez. This year’s line-up so far has 14 bands is going be a winner with the likes of Cherry Casino from Germany, Carlos & The Bandidos or Lynette Morgan from the UK, Fia Sco & The Majestics from Austria and Dutch 44 Shakedown, along with top DJs. Concerts start in the afternoon and run on until the early hours of the morning.
