The two most emblematic and exclusive hotels on the Costa del Sol hosted the Starlite celebrities.
As two of the event’s official hotels, the management of both the Los Monteros Hotel & Spa 5* GL and Guadalmina Hotel is delighted to have given its full support to the Starlite Festival, a major tourism and cultural initiative for Marbella. Both hotel establishments, icons of the Costa del Sol since the middle of the last century, have lent their full support to this initiative by providing the celebrities and VIP guests attending this top event with the ambience and service best suited to their profile.
During the festival, Los Monteros Hotel & Spa hosted a large number of celebrities such as Valeria Mazza and her entire family, Imanol Arias and his partner, Elia Galera, Anne Igartiburu, and the Spanish supermodels Veronica Blume, Malena Costa, Cristina Tosio, Judit Civit, Carmen Xu, Awa, Carolina de Castelleui, and Mayte de la Iglesia. All of the models participated in the presentation of the new swimwear collection by Laura Sanchez (also staying at the hotel with her partner, David Ascanio), which included a very special and unique Starlite Bloomers&Bikini fashion show.
Prior to the fashion show, a casting was organized at Los Monteros Hotel & Spa, in which Laura Sánchez and David Ascanio personally selected a number of local models.
Journalists such as Monica Carrillo, Teresa Barrios, Beatriz Cortazar, Aurelio Manzano, Eva Vicente (communications director at Ford), Carmen Duerto and Rocio Zuñiga, among others, also stayed at Los Monteros Hotel during the weekend coinciding with the Starlite Gala.
Furthermore, other familiar faces like Alejandra Prat, Juan Peña and Juan Antonio Bayona chose the Hotel Guadalmina , where there enjoyed a fabulous weekend break in Marbella and the Starlite Festival’s full programme of leisure activities.
